You know I love an easy DIY and this modern Holiday wreath is just that! I made one a couple of years ago and loved it so much I wanted to re-create it for you guys! All of the supplies are super affordable and easy to find at your local craft store. I have my wreath on the front door and I get so many compliments on it! This project is great too because you can totally get creative and make it your own!
You will need..
- An Embriodery Hoop (I used 18″)
- Faux Christmas Garland
- Floral Wire
- Small Ornaments
- Pinecones
- Hot glue (as needed)
Start by clipping branches from the garland to create the first layer of the wreath. Using Floral wire, wrap the ends of the branches around the bottom of the embroidery hoop.
Start building outward and layer your ornaments, berries, and pinecones! For my wreath, I attached everything with floral wire first and then just hot glued any loose pieces into place!
Attach a ribbon in a fun color to hang the wreath and you’re done!! I used a thumb tack on the top of the door to hold it in place, but you can also tie a bow at the ends and hang it that way!
In case you missed it, I made this one on Facebook Live yesterday!! If you make these at home don’t forget to send pictures!
