This week on Facebook Live I whipped up one of my favorite summer cocktails for entertaining- Summer Sangria. My Mom always made this at the house when we would entertain. What I love about this recipe is you can use what fruit you have on hand and it can be made ahead of time. So, I can spend more time hanging with guests and less time in the kitchen, that is a win-win to me!
To make at home, you will need…
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of white wine (you can use whatever you have on hand but I chose a Moscato, as it is slightly more bubbly compared to other whites)
- ½ Cup of Brandy
- 4 Cups of the fruit of your choice (I used watermelon, pineapple and lime)
- 1 can of lemon-lime flavored soda water (you can use a sugar-free one or club soda, too)
Directions
Slice the fruit of your choice into bite sized pieces.
In a large pitcher, pour white wine and brandy.
Add fruit and lemon-lime soda right before serving and garnish with a lime wedge, enjoy!
How easy was that? Let me know what you think in the comments and don’t forget to tag me if you make these at home!
