The front porch was one of the main reasons I bought this house and somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like a place I wanted to sit in. #ad

We didn’t want a full renovation. We just wanted it to feel like ours again.

So I grabbed @behrpaint and started with the two things that make the biggest visual impact for the least amount of effort: the porch floor and the front door.

The door especially. It’s such a small surface to paint, but it does so much. It’s the first thing you see. It sets the tone for everything behind it. That’s not a small thing.

Paint is always my first move when a space needs to come back to life. It’s affordable, it’s fast and when you choose the right color, it genuinely transforms how a space feels… not just how it looks.

This porch is a place we love now! And it may be my new favorite spot of the whole house!
